Lady and Gentlemen!
Welcome to the 21st ANQ Congress in the Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam
Today, we gather here in Ho Chi Minh City, a vibrantly growing city in the heart of Asia. Our continent, our common home a few years ago was considered the “Plant of the World”, but now it has changed signifi- cantly.
The growth as well as the position of Asian countries, in some fields of science and technology, leading the world, is undeniable. One of those fields, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming more and more popular and present in social and economic aspects.
“AI for every time, every where”
Most recently, “ChatGPT” (which stands for General Purpose Technology) has become a nightmare for many existing working titles such as graphic/interior designer, scriptwriter, and so on. Especially, after the Covid-19 pandemic, the role of AI and IoT changes the working environment from on-site working to working at home.
Moreover, digitalization continues to develop with an array of “smart things” that brings numerous benefits to the service sector, especially in the public sector when relevant digital information has been transferred. In contrast, its usefulness to the private sector focuses on reducing costs.
With such fragments and extremely rapid changes, quality management in manufacturing, and services would know what to do.
John Narsbitt, business Guru and Author of best seller book title “Megatrend and Megatrend 2000” has cited that all future changes will only make our lives “easier, faster, farther”. Most of the change is not in what we do, but in how we do it.
Within the framework of this ANQ Congress, in this very beautiful and hospitable country, we hope that quality managers in factories, workshops, companies, schools, and scientists will have a lot of excitement to think deeply and broadly, and then share new discoveries, new knowledge to continue helping humanity have a better life. With “AI booming”, what can our community do to confront and empower people, helping them organize and take action wisely.
We looking forward to meeting you this October in Ho Chi Minh City
